Position Overview: The Marketing Director is accountable for achieving the Nexen Tire America sales and profitability goals through executing effective Marketing Brand Strategies. This role provides direction and leadership support for the Marketing Strategy programs and Product Planning. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Assist the Vice President of Marketing in overseeing all functions with Marketing Communication· Assist in set up of Brand Marketing strategy· Create and communicate a calendar of marketing events to the sales team· Media select, buying with agencies· Create sports marketing with agency· Sponsorship, Event Marketing with agency· Responsible for creating sports marketing with agency· Responsible for Sponsorship, Event Marketing with Agency· Prepare the Marketing Bi-annual President/Vice Chairman Report· Ad hoc marketing reports for the CEO North America, President at HQ· Dealer communication material building & planning· Manage Nexen ACE (Online Educational Training Portal)· Manage NexenTireUSA.com· Manage Social Media Agency· Manage online persona of Nexen Tire by monitoring search, forums, and review website.· Manage the Nexen Tire App on the iOS Store and Google Play Store· Operate Retail Rebranding Initiative with Outdoor Sign Agency· Consumer Promotion Design· Channel co/Promotion Design· Monthly activity report to the CEOResponsibility and Decision-Making Authority:· Empowered to make decisions within the Region with approval of Executive Vice President of Marketing.· Authority to make cross functional decisions with the approval of Executive Vice President of Marketing in partnership with peers of other functions.Qualifications/Competencies/Position Requirements:· Proven leadership skills.· Supervisory or management experience, preferably of a sales staff.· Working knowledge of Tire Industry sales market segments.· Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior Marketing position.· Prior attendance at formal Marketing training courses a plus.· Proven oral, written, telephone and presentation skills.
