We are seeking a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deliver high-quality results, and consistently meet deadlines. As a key member of the project team, the MEP Manager will oversee the construction process from start to finish, utilizing their expertise to ensure successful project completion. This role involves close collaboration with clients and project teams to drive the timely and efficient completion of MEP trade work.
This position is hybrid and requires local support 4-5 days on-site, in San Francisco, CA, and may vary based on client need.
Unlock Your Potential: Qualifications for Success- 7+ years of MEP experience as a MEP Manager, Project Engineer, and/or Superintendent and should have experience coordinating MEP systems on large scale projects.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred, will consider other relevant degrees.
- Technical and project management background.
- Good understanding of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low‐voltage systems.
- Experienced dealing with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors.
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs as well as Primavera P6.
- General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes and Plumbing Codes as they relate to construction of project.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of LEED especially as it relates to the Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning credits.
- Recent OSHPD or DSA experience is preferred.

- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.).
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.
- May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices on a limited basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors.
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.
- Occasionally will climb stairs, ladders, etc.
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.
- Will interact with people frequently during a shift/workday.
- Will lift, push, or pull objects on an occasional basis.
- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll love it)- Collaborating with MEP designers to ensure the design aligns with the Owner’s/Stakeholders’ needs using a Target Value Design approach.
- Reviewing, managing, and administering mechanical bid tabs/Exhibit Bs, MEP submittals, monthly payment requisitions, change orders, and contractor schedules/performance.
- Serve as a technical resource in meetings with owners and architects.
- Review all MEP related submittals and confirm they comply with the design criteria and contract. Work with the designers to help establish specifications that support the project schedule, budget and quality.
- Coordinate materials procurement and other related activities and communicate progress and prepare appropriate reports as needed.
- Work with contractor on logistics plans and temporary facility requirements. Maintain client advocacy throughout each phase of the project with specific focus on MEP systems.
- Assist Schedulers and/or site personnel with developing detailed CPM schedules for MEP installation activities, including cost and resource loading.
- Ensure all mechanical/electrical shop drawings are submitted in a timely manner. Review shop drawings for completeness.
- Assist in developing plans for start‐up and commissioning of MEP systems and with the project team. Interface with the project stakeholders and commissioning agent and review all commissioning related documentation.

$110 - $180 a year
**Salary advertised is a broad base and is dependent upon various factors such as, experience, expertise, and location. This salary base does not include the full compensation package, which could include bonus, 401k (8% matching btw) and other benefits**
