As an Operator, you are responsible for the safe start-up, monitoring, control, and shutdown of equipment for the efficient, economical, and environmentally compliant production and distribution of carbon black, hydrogen, steam, and condensate.

What you'll do in this role:
  • Support backend operations
  • Pull samples and delivering to the lab for testing
  • Maintain housekeeping related to the backend of process
  • Assist Operations with any needs
  • Follow lean process flows and plant operating procedures
  • Identify and correct problems; report problems requiring further action
  • Support maintenance during outages
  • Maintain strong attention to details
  • Work from heights and in tight spaces
  • Lift up to 50lbs regularly
  • Gain knowledge of use of electric, pneumatic and hand tools
  • Do routine inspections on tooling and equipment
  • Perform other duties as needed

Your environment:

This position is located in Hallam, NE. Nebraska residency is required.


This role works on the DuPont schedule, a 4-week rotating schedule, during which you will work 7 day shifts, 7 night shifts, and have 14 days off throughout the rotation.
