That's DR. When everyone blasts their AC at 5pm, the grid chokes. Instead of building expensive power plants that sit idle 90% of the time, we coordinate small thermostat adjustments across thousands of homes – so slight you'll never notice, but powerful enough to prevent blackouts and eliminate the need for dirty "peaker" plants. 🌿

The Job You'll be Doing (Not Just a Role) 💼

What You'll Actually Do: 🚀

- Driving DR Innovation: 💡 Lead and scale our DR programs, turning a network of hundreds of thousands of homes into a dynamic, energy-saving force.

- Design and execute programs that double enrollment YoY

- Create features that drive higher customer participation

- Develop strategies that increase savings per household

- Build measurement frameworks that prove our impact

- Leveraging AI for Transformation: 🤖  Utilize cutting-edge AI tools to prototype new features, run data-driven experiments, and uncover insights.

- Use tools like Claude and ChatGPT to accelerate prototyping

- Analyze millions of thermostat data points to identify patterns

- Create predictive models that optimize energy savings

- Automate routine tasks to focus on high-impact work

- Strategic Utility Partnerships: 🤝 Work side-by-side with some of the largest utilities in North America.

- Navigate complex utility requirements and regulatory frameworks

- Negotiate win-win partnership structures that scale our impact

- Translate utility needs into product requirements

- Present Mysa's value proposition to utility decision-makers

- Cross-Functional Leadership: 🧠 Collaborate with diverse teams across the organization.

- Partner with Engineering to build and deploy solutions

- Work with Marketing to drive customer engagement

- Coordinate with Customer Support to ensure smooth program operation

- Collaborate with Data Analytics to measure and optimize results

• Impact on Scale: You'll be the architect behind programs that have doubled DR enrollment every year for the last 3 years (yes, we're serious! 🤯), pushing boundaries further with another doubling in the coming year. With hundreds of thousands of homes already equipped with Mysa products and tens of thousands enrolled in DR programs, your playground for innovation is massive.
• Utility Partnership Expansion: You'll forge and strengthen relationships with utilities across North America 🤝, from small electric cooperatives to some of the largest investor owned utilities.
• AI-Enhanced Decision Making: Your ability to harness AI tools will unlock new efficiencies and insights, leading to measurable improvements in energy savings and customer engagement.

• Thrives in a Dynamic Environment: With 5+ years of product management experience, especially in energy tech, utilities, or IoT, you're comfortable working at the intersection of technology, strategy, and customer impact.
• Speaks Utility: You have direct experience with or solid understanding of utility markets and Demand Response programs. You know how utilities think, how DR initiatives are structured, and the regulatory landscapes they navigate.
