Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Deal Desk Lead to collaborate with our Sales, Finance, and Legal teams to structure sales deals, streamline deal processes, and refine pricing strategies. In this high-visibility role reporting to the Head of Strategic Finance, you will oversee initiatives that promote operational excellence, advise on pricing strategies, and support bespoke deal scoping for our large enterprise clients. As a key player in driving the deal pricing and contracting process forward at Notable, you will have a direct impact on growth, revenue, and profitability.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Advisory: Collaborate with sales and finance teams to advise on pricing strategies and tailor bespoke deal structures (new logo, expansion and renewals) that align with our diverse customer segments

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a liaison between account executives and key internal groups (sales, finance, product, legal) to streamline deal closures, enhance the overall contracting process, and price new products

  • Process Optimization: Refine our deal approval & escalation processes to support a high-velocity sales environment, reducing friction in the scoping and contracting phases

  • Pricing Transition: Lead our customer transition from fixed fee contracts to usage-based pricing. Experience with usage-based pricing and contracting is a major plus

  • Contract Design: Rigorously design & review non-standard sales contracts to identify components impacting billing and revenue recognition

  • ARR Tracking & Reporting: Manage ARR tracking and ensure that deals are correctly entered into internal systems after closing

  • COGS Analytics: Continuously monitor usage-based COGS spend to ensure Notable prices deals accurately

  • Training and Support: Provide regular guidance and support to sales teams regarding deal desk policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For:

  • Relevant experience: 5-10 years of relevant experience in deal desk, revenue operations, or a related field with a focus on high-growth B2B SaaS environments

  • Education: Bachelors in finance, accounting or similar

  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to autonomously perform strategic analysis and make data-driven recommendations that shape the future of the business

  • Data Analysis Expertise: Expertise in analyzing and presenting data in either Excel, Google Sheets, or another data analysis tool

  • Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, legal, product, and customer success

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for conveying complex information clearly. A natural ability to build trust and establish strong partnerships with internal stakeholders, particularly with sales teams

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-Starter and Agility: Demonstrated enthusiasm, agility, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Commit to building out processes to allow us to scale and streamline operations

  • CRM Processes: Proven experience managing deals, ARR tracking and quoting processes in Salesforce

  • Additional Qualifications

    • Experience transitioning customers from fixed fee contracts to a usage-based contracts

    • Experience scoping usage-based contracts

    • Experience implementing new CPQ and/or CLM systems

    • Familiarity with Healthcare B2B SaaS
