Job Description

The Valet Supervisor is responsible for creating a welcoming environment and ensuring efficient valet services that meet the expectations of guests and align with Omni's high standards. This role involves overseeing valet operations, managing staff, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guests with an exceptional arrival and departure experience, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
  • Engage with guests to deliver outstanding customer service and create a memorable experience.
  • Ensure valet staff are properly staged to optimize guest service.
  • Manage traffic flow at the front of the hotel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Supervise and guide the valet and front drive staff, ensuring they meet the highest service standards.
  • Coordinate with the Guest Service Agents to guarantee the timely delivery of luggage and guest vehicles.
  • Perform key audits with the Valet team at the end of each shift.
  • Conduct safety checks on all parked vehicles to ensure proper security.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel's front area.
  • Inform the Front Desk and Guest Services of VIP arrivals, when applicable.
  • Assist departing guests by loading luggage into vehicles.
  • Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience in hospitality or a related industry.
  • Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Strong customer service skills and a welcoming attitude.
  • Clear and courteous communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service: a smile, engaging demeanor, and the ability to make a positive first impression.
  • Professional grooming and body language that aligns with the Omni brand standards.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Excellent driving record.
  • For insurance purposes, applicants must be at least 21 years of age and hold a valid driver's license.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior relevant experience is highly preferred.
  • Must be willing to undergo a drug screening and MVR background check.
