Responsibilities

  • Monitor and moderate user-generated content on a leading social media platform, ensuring compliance with community guidelines.
  • Review posts, comments, and messages in Italian, assessing their appropriateness and relevance.
  • Identify and report instances of policy violations, such as hate speech, misinformation, and harassment.
  • Engage with users by responding to inquiries and providing clarity on moderation policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the moderation team to share insights and enhance moderation strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of moderation actions and assist in monitoring content trends.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current with best practices and changes in platform policies.
  • Fluency in Italian with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Prior experience in content moderation, social media management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to assess content contextually.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms and their moderation guidelines.
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment and participate effectively in a virtual team.
