Who are we looking for? 

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Marketing Director to lead Pacific Defense’s marketing efforts. In this role, you will craft and execute marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, support business development efforts, and position Pacific Defense as an industry leader in advanced defense technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within the aerospace, defense, or technology sectors and a proven ability to manage integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable results. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field; MBA preferred. 
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing and communications, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. 
  • Prior experience in high-tech industry, including aerospace and defense, is strongly preferred. 
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing strategies, including digital and traditional channels. 
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences. 
  • Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM systems, analytics tools, and content management systems). 

Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with company staff across all business functions, including business development, product and program management, engineering and operations, to develop comprehensive marketing strategies and initiatives aligned with company goals. 
  • Enhance and maintain Pacific Defense’s brand identity across all channels; ensure consistent messaging and branding across marketing materials, presentations, and public communications. 
  • Plan, execute, and measure the success of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, press engagements, trade shows, webinars, and print materials. 
  • Web-based presence and search optimization; enhance online presence through search engine optimization, content marketing, and social media strategies. 
  • Oversee the creation of compelling content for public release including white papers, case studies, news release, blog posts, and technical marketing collateral; collaborate with subject matter experts to translate technical information into clear, marketable messaging. 
  • Manage end-to-end execution of high-profile events and trade shows, including booth design, promotional materials, and lead-generation activities. 
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs. 
  • Build relationships with external agencies, vendors, and partners to maximize marketing impact.
