We're looking for a skilled Podcast Project Manager to join our global team. In this role, you'll oversee the coordination and management of our podcast production process, working closely with our external production company which handles the editing. You'll be the key liaison ensuring smooth workflows across different time zones and cultural contexts.

Key Responsibilities

Podcast Project Management:

  • Manage the production cycle of podcasts from concept development to final delivery.
  • Coordinate with remote hosts, guests, and our external production company across multiple time zones.
  • Schedule recordings, ensuring proper preparation of all participants.
  • Provide clear briefs and requirements to the production company.
  • Develop and maintain production calendars and workflows.
  • Research topics and prepare briefing materials for hosts and guests.
  • Conduct quality assurance on final edits received from the production company.
  • Manage project budgets and resource allocation.
  • Track performance metrics and implement improvements based on audience feedback.
  • Create compelling sales materials and media kits to attract potential sponsors.
  • Maintain relationships with podcast sponsors once deals are closed.
  • Ensure sponsor deliverables and commitments are fulfilled.
  • Coordinate ad placements and sponsor mentions with the production company.
  • Provide regular performance reports to sponsors.

Invoicing:

  • Generate, review, and distribute accurate customer invoices according to contract terms and services provided for Boring Ecom.
  • Monitor and maintain accounts receivable aging reports.
  • Follow up on past-due accounts through phone calls and emails.

Required Qualifications

● 3+ years of experience in podcast or content project management

● Proven ability to manage vendor relationships effectively

● Experience coordinating production workflows with external partners

Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity

● Experience working with remote teams across different time zones

● Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

● Flexibility to occasionally work non-standard hours to accommodate global scheduling

● Experience in managing client or sponsor relationships

● Ability to create professional sales and marketing materials

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience living or working in multiple countries

● Additional language proficiency beyond English

● Background in journalism, storytelling, or content creation

● Understanding of podcast marketing and audience growth strategies

● Basic knowledge of audio production to effectively communicate with our production

company
