Palantir UK Winter Tech Fellowship

We are now accepting applications for our 2025 UK Winter Tech Fellowship! Final submission deadline is January 10th, 2025 at 5:00 PM GMT.


The UK Winter Tech Fellowship is an insight experience for students looking to accelerate their personal and technical growth in preparation for a successful, impactful career in tech. This a self-guided, remote program during which you will have the unique opportunity to build groundbreaking projects using Palantir's AI Platform – AIP, during your university's winter break. The program officially runs from December 4, 2024-January 10, 2025.


For the first time ever, Fellowship winners will have an expedited path toward a 2025 Summer Internship or Full-Time Role at Palantir. All participants will receive a certificate of participation, a special Palantir swag item, and a guaranteed expedited application review for 2025 summer internship or new grad roles at Palantir. Following the conclusion of the program and presentations, the top winning projects will be selected & invited to our UK office for an evening amongst Palantirians, a special presentation of the winning projects, and the opportunity to meet with our hiring managers.


What You'll Do:
  • Identify a Problem & Innovate with Data: This is your opportunity to identify a problem you care about, and come up with your own solution. We’ll provide some examples to get you inspired, and you are encouraged to bring any publicly available data to enrich your project.
  • Build & Create: Develop cutting-edge solutions using AIP, with guidance and support from experienced Palantirians to help you succeed. Find some examples below for inspiration!

  • Join the developer community: For support or questions as you build your fellowship submission please leverage community.palantir.com and tag you posts with "winter-fellowship-2024". While the requirement is to submit an individual project, collaboration is a bonus during the fellowship - we encourage you all to engage with other fellows’ posts marked with this tag.
  • Submit a demo video: Showcase your Fellowship project in a < 4 minute YouTube video demonstrating the components of your workflow. This will be your chance to showcase not only what you built but share the how and why behind you project to highlight not only technical skills but abilities to communicate solutions to challenging problems. Full video submission details will be sent to you once you submit your application via Lever. 


What We Require
  • UK Residency to open your personal AIP Dev Tier account.
  • Active interest in our 2025 Summer Internship or New Grad roles
  • If you have already applied this year, regardless of the outcome we encourage you to participate! This is a great opportunity to further develop your tech skills, build your relationship with Palantir, and receive feedback.
  • Engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, and Data Science.
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited UK university and on course to graduate in 2025 or 2026.

  • Most recent resume or CV: Please ensure that your university and expected graduation year are clearly listed.
  • AIP Developer Tier: Submit a link to your AIP Developer Tier Stack (URL), showcasing your technical setup and readiness to dive into the project. You can get your own AIP Developer account here! A valid credit card will be required for identity verification (KYC) purposes. Your card will not be charged. Please make sure you use the same email address for your registration and developer tier sign-up.
  • Speedruns: Confirm that you will complete the Speedruns onlearn.palantir.combefore the program kick-off to demonstrate your proficiency with our platform and prepare for hacking!
  • Submit your Palantir Community Username: Sign-up at https://community.palantir.com/
