Job Description

Your Career

We are looking for an experienced program and delivery manager to join the Palo Alto Network’s Enterprise PMO team. The ideal candidate will have a background in consulting and high-tech, experience planning and delivering large technology transformation projects, is well-versed in software delivery methodologies, and has strong communications and stakeholder management skills.

Your Impact

  • Program Delivery Leadership - Drive successful execution of large, cross-functional programs from inception to go-live, identifying cross-functional dependencies, anticipating and mitigating risks, and managing business and IT stakeholder expectations and priorities
  • Functional and Technical Acumen - Utilize knowledge of go-to-market, customer experience and finance operations and related technologies to shape and deliver tech-driven programs in conjunction with product, engineering and quality assurance teams
  • Stakeholder Management - Engage and communicate effectively with senior executives, project teams, and external stakeholders - Provide clear reporting on program progress, risks, and dependencies, ensuring alignment across all parties
  • Process Optimization - Implement and drive continuous improvement processes across program delivery, utilizing consulting frameworks and tools to refine project delivery approaches and stakeholder relationship management
  • Risk and Issue Management - Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact program delivery, leveraging both problem-solving skills, functional and technical insights to navigate challenges 

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • 12+ years of experience in Program management and delivery experience, with a strong track record of driving large-scale, complex projects in a fast moving, agile environment
  • Must have a strong background working in top-tier consulting firms (Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG, Accenture)
  • Good understanding of go-to-market domains and technologies, with experience managing tech-focused programs
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution, ensuring both client needs and technical requirements are met effectively
  • MBA graduate from a top-tier business school or similar academic credentials and/or Consulting or equivalent military experience required
  • Local SF Bay Area Candidates who can be onsite 3 days/week

Compensation Disclosure

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $155000 - $251000/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
