Waymo is seeking a Partner Marketing Manager to identify and bring to life co-marketing opportunities through sponsorships, content development, co-branding, experiential marketing programs and promotions. You are relationship-oriented, a storyteller and a problem solver who thrives on forging new relationships, building mutually beneficial marketing programs with partners, and driving creative content in service of customer acquisition. You are an experienced leader and also enjoy rolling up your sleeves and digging in personally to drive projects from early concept development to execution. You are a strategic thinker, brilliant closer, and clear communicator, with an appetite for growing an emerging brand into a household name.  


In this role you'll:


  • Lead efforts to engage, negotiate, and secure marketing partnerships that drive brand awareness, product adoption, and new customer acquisition in the cities that Waymo One operates (currently SF, LA, PHX, with more to come) 
  • Build out mutually beneficial multi-channel marketing plans with partners aligning on target audience, brand voice, and business objectives
  • Develop partnerships across all tiers (hyperlocal, local and national) and verticals ranging from healthcare to education, travel, sports, entertainment, lifestyle and more
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and marketing partners to bring to life compelling messaging, creative content, and product integrations
  • Develop partnership collateral including presentations, emails, brochures, signage, promotions, and other co-branded materials
  • Build a scalable partner demand generation engine including campaign templates and tools
  • Represent Waymo as the key point of contact for prospective marketing partners
  • Identify, measure, and report on key success metrics to guide future partnership strategies


At a minimum we'd like you to have:


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in partner, experiential, and/or field marketing in-house or in an agency environment driving B2C brand awareness and customer acquisition
  • Proven track record leading complex business negotiations with positive results
  • Experience bringing to life multi-channel marketing partnerships and consumer promotions with significant market/consumer impact
  • Impactful verbal and written communication skills: ability to ask probing questions, read the room, and adjust communications approach based on the audience and situation
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Dynamic, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset

 

The expected base salary range for this full-time position across US locations is listed below. Actual starting pay will be based on job-related factors, including exact work location, experience, relevant training and education, and skill level. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the role location or, if the role can be performed remote, the specific salary range for your preferred location, during the hiring process. 


Waymo employees are also eligible to participate in Waymo’s discretionary annual bonus program, equity incentive plan, and generous Company benefits program, subject to eligibility requirements.

$162,000—$201,000 USD
