We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator products with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to support our mission.
This role is based in New York and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.
About the Team
The Insights team helps creators understand how their business is performing and to take action to maximize their success. We’re working on a multi-year roadmap to grow our creator analytics tooling from basic to best in class.
About the Role
Build products that maximize the reach and ROI of Patreon creators
Engineer tools with high craft that maximize simplicity and power
Synthesize feedback from user research, interviews, market insights and trends to build components that solve our users’ most immediate problems
Employ an iterative approach to development with a focus on shipping evolutionary releases that culminate in revolutionary products
Work hand in hand with cross-functional partners to refine and deliver new features
Contribute to company-wide efforts to refine our front-end tech stack
About You
3+ years of experience in software development
Excited to craft delightful user experiences and reusable components using Next,js and React, grounded in JavaScript and TypeScript best practices
Good knowledge and understanding of modern web technologies (we use Flask, Node.js, gRPC, HTTP)
Able to interact with and extend REST APIs
Experienced with build tools like Webpack, Babel, and CircleCI
Preference for practicality over dogmatism
Penchant for solving complex requirements with elegant and simple solutions
