What you’ll do

  • Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure superior service and guest satisfaction. Initially at our Union Square location, and soon several around NYC

  • Hire, lead, coach, and train team members on all aspects of Popchew kitchen operations

  • Manage inventory, quality, and safety protocols

  • Maintain high standards of excellence

  • Manage payroll and scheduling

  • Work with leadership to implement local marketing initiatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of Restaurant General Management experience in a high volume, fast-paced QSR environment

  • Working knowledge of restaurant operations, including personnel management, food planning and preparation, purchasing, sanitation and health codes, and security

  • Ability to learn and train others on all aspects of Popchew kitchen ops

  • Knowledgeable in all financial aspects of business operations

  • Minimum 3 years of P&L responsibilities

  • Food handler certification, preferred

  • Willingness to work flexible hours

  • Strong communication skills with an ability to advocate/convey your strategy to leadership

  • Collaborative approach which embodies Popchew’s culture and values

  • Creative mindset and an ability to spot opportunities and cultivate ideas where others wouldn’t

  • Analytical rigor and an ability to synthesize data into actionable insights

  • Spanish proficiency, required
