Staff AccountantPrideStaff Financial has partnered with one of the largest and fastest growing companies in Sacramento in search of a staff accountant to join their accounting team. If you are looking for a company with strong employee relations including a flexible schedule look no further! In this position you will receive employee development and advancement opportunities, flexible schedule, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), company sponsored events, vacation & holiday pay, employee recognition and appreciation events.Responsibilities:• Process business activity through the general ledger to the financial statements• Prepare bank reconciliations for all cash accounts, create journal entries, and maintain prepaid accrual schedules.• Produce timely and accurate monthly financial reports• Assist in the set-up of bank accounts, accounting systems, and financial reports• Review and approve all accounts payable, payment disbursements• Prepare, review, and assist with annual recovery reconciliations and estimated billings.• Reconcile general ledger accounts with supporting schedules monthly.• Timely preparation of monthly standard reporting packages and response to managers’ and clients’ inquiries.• Assist with annual budgets, prepare audit packages, and provide lender reports as required.Qualifications:• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required.• Thorough understanding of GAAP.• Multi entity accounting a plus• Must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Apps (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets)• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)• Highly analytical and possess superb attention to detail, organization and multitasking abilitiesBenefits:• Comprehensive Medical, Dental, & Vision Plans• 401(k) Plan Retirement Options• Company Paid Vacation, Holiday, & Sick Pay• Employee Assistance Program (EAP)• Career AdvancementJump start your career with a full time job, with a great company, competitive wages, and let PrideStaff support you in your future employment endeavors.
