About the role
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be driving go-to-market initiatives tied to the continued growth of the LifeMD brands. Using a data-driven and market evidence approach, and working collaboratively with technical, creative, and campaign specialists, this role will be responsible for the positioning, messaging, and overarching strategy that will power successful acquisition, nurturing, and retention efforts. The role will be expected to develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and target buyer and required to balance multiple responsibilities, prioritize efficiently, and succeed in a cross-functional capacity.
Responsibilities
- Act as storyteller for LifeMD’s offerings through the lens of our customers, developing and leveraging high impact and differentiated solution positioning and messaging
- Strategize on pricing/packaging, promotions, new offerings, etc. that will be successful in acquiring and retaining customers; subsequently, work cross-functionally to execute against these programs
- Oversee production of a range of content to fuel top, middle, and bottom of the funnel marketing activities
- Create detailed customer personas and understand the buyer's journey for key audiences; map high impact content and messaging appropriately to each persona/stage
- Become a SME on the offering/solution set (including the technology); serve as the voice of customer and work alongside product/technical SMEs to ensure the customer experience is optimized in support of acquisition/retention
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a Product Marketing or similar role; a healthcare background is preferred (additional years of experience in related/go-to-market like role… e.g., more traditional marketing, product management, DTC sales, etc. sort of background)
- Track record of effectively partnering with multiple stakeholders, especially product management, engineering, and demand generation teams
- Excellent writing, speaking, and visual storytelling skills
- Deep analytical skills; equally comfortable pulling out qualitative insights from customer interviews, digging into keyword research, or diving into quantitative marketing metrics
- A pragmatic and practical self-starter, who can juggle multiple work-streams, loves to problem-solve, and can efficiently drive a collaborative process
