And through our network of 38 offices spanning five continents, we can deliver for our customers anywhere around the globe.An employee in this title has responsibility to lead and supervise the Inbound Department’s daily activities using set company procedures, standards, and guidelines. The responsibilities include but are not limited to examining, counting, scanning, and distributing assets back to designated departments and supervising Inbound crew; assisting in loading, unloading of trucks, and supporting the Operations team with other duties as requested.Essential Functions• Supervise the Inbound staff and Train new staff members.• Monitor timelines of returning loads from shows as manifested in TEAM. Discuss and plan anticipated activities and priorities with staff.• Forecast upcoming staffing requirements related to Inbound and communicate with the Shop Manager.• Perform in sorting all inbound equipment, including locating all internal and external sub-rental equipment.• Identify and report any damaged equipment returning from shows in real time to Operations, Show AE, PM, and OC.• Work/Communicate with departments to perform searches for missing equipment and report progress in a timely fashion.Other Duties• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, including weekends and holidays, when needed.Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities• Supervisory experience required.• Minimum High School Diploma or GED• A fundamental understanding or familiarity with live event equipment and gear• Experience in lighting rental shop and entertainment industry is helpful.Competencies• Ability to interact with Customers on a professional level.• Must possess excellent interpersonal, clear verbal and written communication. Fluency in English required.• Must have demonstrated time management skills and be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced multi-task environment with minimal supervision.• Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.• Ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a stressful environment with ability to adapt positively to changes in the work setting with ease.Physical demands• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch,reach, push, pull, and lift.• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Required Education And Experience• Supervisory experience required.• Minimum High School Diploma or GED• A Fundamental understanding or familiarity with live event equipment and gear• Experience in lighting rental shop and entertainment industry is helpful.PRG is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
