We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage the successful delivery of large, complex strategic cross-functional technology and business process improvement projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for defining project scope, creating comprehensive business requirements documentation, creating project plans, managing and communicating priorities, tracking project progress, managing resources, and communicating with project stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand project objectives, requirements, and business processes
- Develop and manage detailed business requirements documentation, project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Work closely with Product Team to ensure technical deliverables are prioritized, planned, managed and delivered to expectations
- Assign and tasks and responsibilities to project team members across various departments and manage their delivery
- Monitor project progress and identify and mitigate risks
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success
- Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders and management
- Ensure project documentation is complete and up to date
- Facilitate project meetings and ensure action items are addressed in a timely manner
- Analyze and improve existing business processes to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness
- Manage both IT and business process deliverables in a cohesive manner to ensure project success
Key Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of Financial Services (particularly brokerage operations and online trading software) desired
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in project management in the IT and/or business process improvement industry, including experience managing large cross-functional projects
- Proven track record of delivering successful IT and/or business process improvement projects
- Experience managing multiple projects of varying complexity concurrently
- Strong experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience working with project management software, such as Jira, Confluence, and Monday
- Experience with business process modeling and improvement methodologies and ability to understand and breakdown as-is and to-be models
- Understanding of business analysis techniques and tools
Base Compensation: Up to $120,000 depending on experience
