Our team is made up of fierce advocates for kids and having an environment where we are able to come together as a unit to be advocates for our patients and families creates an environment, where I as a child life specialist, am able to bring in play and normalization into the hospital environment. And that's when we truly see the smiles, the laughter, the joy of kids getting to be kids, even amongst all their illness and struggles here at the hospital.
