Fire Alarm Test & Inspection Technician

We are looking for a Fire Alarm Test & Inspection Technician to join the team!


This role is responsible for the inspection, service, and repair of fire alarm systems. Also responsible for ensuring high levels of accuracy of these responsibilities and working in accordance with applicable national and local Codes and Standards.


In this role you will:


-Routinely inspect, test, troubleshoot, and service fire alarm systems.

-Conduct service calls and perform routine inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance on low voltage systems.

-Troubleshoot systems to determine source of problem and recommend solution(s).

-Determine the presence of other fire protection and building systems, and device locations.

-Conduct fire code compliance follow-ups to ensure that corrective actions are appropriated.

-Document detailed reports of fire inspections performed, fire code violations observed, and recommendations.

-Maintain a clean and safe work environment on and off site.

-Provide exceptional customer service & develop strong relationships with customers.

-Interface successfully with clients and other branches of business; Administration, Sales, and Management.


Requirements:


-High School Diploma or equivalent required

-1-3 years’ experience trouble shooting, servicing, and installing Fire Alarm systems

-NICET certification preferred

-Familiar with applicable fire and building codes (preferred)

$26 - $35 an hour
