Fire Sprinkler Service & Install Fitter Technician

We are looking for a Fire Sprinkler Service Fitter & Install Technician to join our team!


As a Fire Sprinkler Service Fitter & Install Technician, you’re responsible for the installation, inspection, service, and/or repair of wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems. Ensure high levels of accuracy of these responsibilities and working in accordance with applicable national and local Codes and Standards.


In this role you will:


-Perform installation, service, and/or repair of wet-pipe, dry-pipe, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems

-Perform periodic inspections per National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 25 standards - internal piping inspections, obstruction investigations, flow tests, and hydro tests

-Provide accurate documentation through the use of Service Trade and state/local documentation as required

-Record and document all inspections, repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations

-Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow-up, quotes, questions, or concerns


Requirements:


-2 or more years’ experience as a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter.

-Washington Fitter Card

-High School diploma or equivalent

-Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14, 20, & 25

-Working knowledge of current codes and standards of fire sprinkler systems

-NICET II Water Based Systems certification (highly preferred)

-Must be able to work an on call schedule once every 6 weeks

-Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record


Working Conditions:


-Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted

-Frequently lift and carry toolboxes, tools, equipment, parts, cabling, and/or wiring

-Must be able to push or pull up to 50 pounds

-Frequent ladder climbing, often while carrying up to 50 pounds

$44 - $60 an hour
