Preferably this person will be based in Spain.
This position is responsible for ensuring that the new products for all RBI brands for International markets (EMEA and APAC regions) are mapped, tracked and deployed to the correct stakeholders (internal and external) by reviewing it in the original language, performing a thorough review following RBI process, ensuring that Operations SOPs are reviewed in totality prior product launch.
This position will be responsible to coordinate the product initiation through specific RBI System and the initial review and deployment of activitities related to that process, acting as project coordinator for such activities.
The position will also oversee, manage, support or lead, depending on each project, other projects related to Operations and cross functional projects with other areas (such as Operations, QA, Safety, Marketing or Supply Chain).
Team Leadership
Oversee and manage the day to day work a team of two Projects and SOP Approval Analysts.
Motivate the team, set clear objectives and monitor progress.
Ensure that the team members receive the necessary training, support & resources.
Process Improvement
Conduct root cause analysis for identified bottlenecks.
Lead initiatives to continually improve the approval process.
Project Management
Receive from RBI or RBI Franchisees stakeholders the product initiation forms requests, reject or accept following RBI Standards and Policies.
Plan, schedule and coordinate the necessary meetings, calls or routines with all stakeholders involved on the process according to RBI instructions.
Administrative
Maintain transparency of processes through regular updates to “International Operations Procedure Approval Tracker” and other measurement tools as defined.
Provide reports on critical processes and performance as requested by RBI Leadership.
Maintain Operations SOPs tracker on weekly basis according to RBI instructions.
Maintain the product recipes in RBI Systems according to RBI representative requests within 5 working days.
Relevant work experience as a Food Technologist or Quality Assurance related role in the QSR/Restaurant/Food industry.
Bachelor’s degree Food Science, Sciences, Engineering or Administration
Team leader experience is a plus.
Minimum 3 years of progressive work experience in the relevant field.
Experience in Project Management.
Foundation in Project Management and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Languages required: English
Plus: Spanish, French, German.
Flexible, self-starter, resourceful and meticulous
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Fast learner.
Good analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and experience interacting with external people (customers, suppliers, etc).
Ability to escalate and report objectively and thoroughly.
Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers/suppliers at all times.
Results oriented and sense of urgency. Takes accountability and demonstrates drive in delivering results. Flexible and resourceful.
