Challenges You Will Solve


The Vice President, Sales will lead the East Coast sales operation with customers consisting of large enterprise, mid enterprise and SMB.  In this role, you will have an impact on Red Canary’s growth and will be responsible for hiring, coaching, measuring success, and implementing structure and discipline for driving success and building a world class sales organization that achieves its objectives.  The VP of East Sales will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.


What You'll Do
  • Understand and internalize the Red Canary mission and vision and translate them into a Sales strategy
  • Execute against overall sales plan and lead team in sales goals and forecasting, as well as implement processes, infrastructure, and hiring to execute against sales financial plans.
  • Act as an ambassador across our customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain a strong performance culture while leading successful teams
  • Work strategically with regional Demand Generation, Sales Engineering, as well as with Product, Marketing, Channels/Partnerships and Customer Success to accelerate growth. 
  • Develop front-line leaders with a positive attitude and desire to help them grow their careers in a supportive, yet accountable, environment.
  • Empower individuals and teams to exceed objectives through coaching and mentorship.
  • Create strategies and develop materials necessary to accelerate customer acquisition, customer retention and customer growth.
  • Build a strong cross-functional operating cadence with teams around pipeline, forecasting, deal review, execution, deployment and revenue realization.
  • Play an active role in sales strategy and business planning and help to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • Be an active member in the region’s cybersecurity community 


What You'll Bring

  • A proven track record of leading scaled sales teams as a second line leader and successfully executing against objectives
  • Minimum of 10+ years experience building, managing, and guiding Sales teams towards set goals.
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to implement both short-term and long-term sales plans.
  • Strong planning, writing, presentation, and communication skills’
  • Strong relationships and experience working with channel and alliance partners to grow the region’s business. 
  • Growth mindset with the ability to learn, adapt and improve constantly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Collaborative and able to work in ambiguous situations normal in a growing environment.
  • Experience as a hands-on sales leader who enjoys building and maintaining operational excellence.

Base salary for this role is $203,750 - $250,000 per year, plus commission for total estimated on-target earnings on $407,500 - $500,000. This role is eligible for a grant of stock options, subject to the approval of the company's board of directors. Application deadline is January 3, 2025
