You do not have to relocate to join us!What this job can offer youAs our Partnerships Manager, Venture Capital (AMER), you will be responsible for developing and delivering the strategy and execution of our VC partnerships program. You will also focus on securing new and innovative partnerships, distribution models, and co-marketing initiatives with paid partners that drive revenue and business upside for our VC channel.What you bring• Proven experience in growth / partnerships / business development in the VC, HR, fintech, or software/technology industry, and proven experience leading a partner GTM strategy;• Willingness to roll up sleeves and partner cross-functionally to get new programming off the ground;• Strong leadership, intellectual curiosity, analytical, sales and partnering skills;• Proven ability to manage programs at scale, negotiate contracts, generate pipeline and execute on co-marketing initiatives;• Superior verbal, written and presentation skills are necessary, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations;• Experience in B2B SaaS technology marketing;• Prior experience with CRM and marketing automation tools such as HubspotWhat are your core attributes?• A team player. It's a highly cross-functional role, partnering closely with several teams, and needs to be able to nurture warm relationships across every functional team;• Creative and results-driven: you have a unique knack for spotting or creating business opportunities from scratch;• Eager to make a huge impact at Remote and scale growth through partnership.• You thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment and are able to operate fluidly between the big picture and the small task, while never losing sight of results.• Aggressively setting your own goals: You're hungry for setting and achieving goals independently and exhibit a growth mindset.Key Responsibilities• Develop and drive VC partnership strategy and execution, with the expected outcome of driving customer acquisition and revenue growth.• Develop the strategy and execution for engaging and activating VC partners to achieve high levels of engagement and portfolio penetration.• Help drive and execute the event and paid sponsorships strategy for the VC channel, with the expected outcome of driving customer acquisition and revenue growth including the execution of high-value events, programming, and engagements at scale.• Market research to identify, evaluate, and onboard new VC or accelerator partners including paid partnerships into the Remote VC partner ecosystem.• Continuously look for ways to deploy regional events or scaled programming with VC partners to increase lead generation and sales pipeline for the GTM org and partner closely with cross-functional teams (Partnerships, Partner Marketing, Events, Regional Marketing, and Sales) on execution.• Collaborate with Partner Marketing to ideate, launch, and optimize co-marketing and promotion opportunities (webinars, events, content sharing).• Create strong relationships with partners and the sales team to drive more partner-sourced and influenced revenue and expand VC strategic sales initiatives (e.g. Private Equity)• Secure new and innovative distribution models and co-marketing initiatives with paid partners that drive revenue and business upside for the VC channel, driving mutual customer and partner success through innovative programming and event strategy.Practicals• You'll report to: VC Partnerships Lead• Team: Channel Partnerships• Location: For this position we welcome everyone to apply, but we will prioritise applications from the following locations as we encourage our teams to diversify; AMER (US or Canada)• Start date: As soon as possibleRemote Compensation PhilosophyRemote's Total Rewards philosophy is to ensure fair, unbiased compensation and fair equity pay along with competitive benefits in all locations in which we operate. At Remote we have international operations and a globally distributed workforce. We use geo ranges to consider geographic pay differentials as part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive in various markets while we hiring globally.The base salary range for this full-time position is $85,350 USD to $132,000 USD. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands.
