Program Overview


The Summer 2023 Internship program at Vevo is a paid opportunity designed as a unique opportunity for qualified students to gain hands-on experience while learning about the media and entertainment industry.


Detailed Summary and Description


We are seeking an intern to join our team of Research experts who influence business decisions with consumer, content, and advertising-based insights, with a particular emphasis on Connected TV (CTV). This role reports to the Media Analytics Manager within the Research team. 


The Research team at Vevo specializes in using actionable insights to tell impactful and meaningful stories about Vevo’s audience and content. 


As a Research intern, you’ll be working alongside talented individuals that will challenge you to think about the best ways to use audience stories, ad campaign insights, and artist/genre industry trends to communicate the value of Vevo and win the hearts and minds of current and future partners.


This is a full-time Hybrid position for Summer 2023.


Sample Projects & Responsibilities


  • Develop client-facing campaign wrap reports that illustrate the power of Vevo in delivering on advertising goals and objectives 
  • Work with the Ad Operation team to successfully execute campaign research
  • Keep a pulse on key moments & events in pop culture and how they affect music video viewership
  • Work with key members of the Research team to develop a cohesive narrative around a key focus audience for Vevo’s Sales team 
  • Work cross-functionally with the Media and Consumer Analytics teams to compile a cohesive sponsorship case study that combines both viewership and campaign insights


Qualified Interns Will Possess The Following Skills


  • Strategic thinker with an ability to identify trends and make insightful recommendations
  • Ability to learn how to use new tools/applications and interpret data sets 
  • Excellent organization, written/oral communication skills
  • Curious and self-motivated with attention to detail
  • A passion for research, entertainment, music, and TV
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint


Requirements


  • Rising Senior currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Desire to pursue a career in the media industry
  • 20 hours per week June 6th-August 3rd 2023 


The pay range for this position is $15 per hour. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Transparency Law.


This is a part-time position based on-site/in the office. Vevo will operate in a hybrid work model and will require interns to be in office 3 days a week.
