The Channel Events Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the external Marketing Events & Programs team by planning, organizing, and executing event sponsorship deliverables that align with marketing objectives and enhance engagement with the MSP community. This role reports directly to the Events & Programs Manager and requires managing deliverables for a dynamic and robust tradeshow calendar while ensuring seamless event execution. 

We are looking for a motivated individual with an interest in learning about and growing their career within the Technology and Managed Service Provider (MSP) space, contributing to the success of a fast-paced and innovative marketing team.

  • Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel to events 1–2 times per month. 

  • Excellent Organizational Skills: Adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Tradeshow Calendar Management: Coordinate and manage deliverables for a robust schedule of tradeshows and conferences, ensuring all deadlines and objectives are met. 

  • Shipping & Logistics Coordination: Oversee the management, tracking, and timely coordination of all event-related shipments. 

  • Vendor Collaboration: Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to source and manage swag, printing, booth equipment and promotional projects. 

  • Travel & Hotel Arrangements: Responsible for booking, organizing, and maintaining updated records of hotel accommodations for all event staff attending tradeshows and conferences. 

  • On-Site Event Management: Supervise event setup, execution, and teardown, proactively addressing any challenges to ensure smooth operations. 

  • HubSpot Management: Assist in managing event-related tasks communications within HubSpot, including creation of webinar emails, landing pages, and tracking registration. 

  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with marketing teams to promote events and increase booth engagement. 

 

Qualifications:  

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. 

  • Experience: 1-2 years of prior experience in event planning, coordination, or a similar role, preferably with tradeshow management. 

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in event management tools and Microsoft Excel, strong organizational and negotiation skills. 

  • Attributes: Extremely detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and a natural problem-solver with a proactive attitude.
