Always on top of what’s hot in the fashion industry, the members of our Merchandising team ensure we have the right products in the right places at the right time. With their exceptional taste and expert analytical skills, they work closely with cross-functional teams like Digital Commerce and Production to manage inventory and delight our customers with the products they want—and the ones they don’t yet know they want but must have.
In this role as a Merchant, you will take charge of shaping seasonal strategies that not only adhere to our overall goals but also hit our financial targets. You'll analyze the business landscape with a keen eye, identify potential risks and opportunities, and present data-driven recommendations to your teammates in a clear and effective manner. It’s about crafting a blueprint for our team's product lineup, influencing everything from design to production, ensuring that every piece aligns with our larger objectives.
Develop and drive seasonal strategies that meet financial targets and align to the divisional strategy
Provide thorough business analysis and effectively articulate risks and opportunities to make informed recommendations to cross-functional partners to drive the business
Build and articulate departmental seasonal line plans to guide design, product development and production that support divisional strategies
Participate and present weekly business analysis to leadership with emphasis on action oriented pivots based on business trends
Build assortments that meet financial targets and profitability goals
Partner with merch planning closely to build pre season strategies and also develop in-season tactics to drive financial results
Build departmental pricing strategies that align with consumer demand and brand positioning
Create and maintain accurate merchant information across internal platforms and communicate changes to appropriate business partners on an on-going and timely basis
Maintain and demonstrate competitive knowledge and curiosity of our customer base
Establish consistent track record of making the right recommendations to drive the business
A clear communicator and effective relationship builder who is passionate about helping others
Extremely organized with strong attention to every last detail
Patient, understanding and adaptable; comfortable working in a dynamic environment
4+ years of experience
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with and influence at all levels while also maintaining confidentiality when necessary
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a knack for accuracy and creative problem-solving
Strong time management and critical thinking skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
A solutions-oriented mindset when faced with challenges and addressing roadblocks

$82,000 - $96,000 annually
Base pay is one part of the total rewards package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
