Sales Development Intern (Remote/Hybrid) - job 1 of 2

As a boutique fintech company, we provide our employees unique opportunities to gain extensive exposure to various problems and be challenged to find solutions to impact our business. As an Intern you will spend 10 weeks gaining firsthand experience working as a contributing member of the RapidRatings team. Through our Program’s Core Curriculum, you can look forward to your summer with us be guided every step of the way, exposing you to all facets of the Company and the industry we operate in.


At the end of the summer, our goal for all interns is that they leave the program with enough hands-on experience to help them to make guided and educated decisions about the next steps they take on their career paths. Altogether, interns will walk away from RapidRatings with knowledge of more than just the area they were designated to work with for the summer.


About the Opportunity:

 

Join our organization as a Sales Development Intern.


Responsibilities include:


  • Supporting the Sales Development Team, by identifying and cultivating prospective new clients through several initiatives central to that task including:
  • Researching/prospecting new companies and contacts that could utilize our service
  • Creating appropriate and creative messaging to reach out to contacts
  • Database/CRM Management (i.e. Salesforce, Hubspot/SalesLoft)
  • Prospecting follow-up
  • Sales presentations and associated analysis/data prep required using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel


What We’re Looking For:


  • You have a desire to understand how our ratings apply to the day-to-day work of several different functions including investment, credit, and supply chain.
  • You have the research skills and time management that are central to the role.
  • You are able to perform effectively as an individual and as a member of a team.
  • You have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to learn

Note: Our NYC and Boston offices are open with continued options of hybrid on-site/remote working. That said, it is important that the student in this role be based in the greater NYC area. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore suitable options.
