What are we looking for?

Sentinelone Commercial Engineers are the go-to technical pre-sales experts for our midmarket customers. The Commercial SE’s leverage their superb SentinelOne product knowledge, to assist our Commercial Account Executives in converting interested potential customers into long-standing clients. This individual will play an instrumental role in accelerating our sales initiatives. Further, the ideal candidate should also be able to function as a business, information, and infrastructure architect in a pinch, at a minimum. 

What will you do?

  • Work alongside your sales partner(s) to grow your region and develop account strategies
  • Understand partner requirements as they relate to security architectures across their customers’ environments
  • Track and document aspects of the sales cycle including elements that are the primary responsibility of the Sales Engineer
  • Lead Proof of Concept/Value engagements
  • Prepare and lead technical presentations to explain to Partners how SentinelOne products and services work
  • Provide Enablement and Technical Guidance 
  • Recommend new and improved solutions to customers to help them grow their business and service offerings they provide to their customers
  • Actively participate within the greater technical team sharing experience, best practices, and knowledge

What skills and knowledge should you bring?

  • Be able to evangelize the SentinelOne singularity platform: build trust with a prospect's technical teams, by thoroughly demonstrating how the SentinelOne technology works and provides value.
  • Experience in cyber security, preferably endpoint cyber defense.
  • Achieve mastery of all SentinelOne technologies.
  • Have an excellent understanding of the endpoint security market and demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive technologies.
  • Demonstrable experience speaking to both small and large audiences.
  • Use concise written and oral communication skills to effectively lead business and technical presentations, product demonstrations and conversations with both executives and technical audiences.
  • Must have demonstrable experience successfully selling to the small to midsize customers.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd-level technical support throughout the whole pre-sales cycle. 
  • Must have basic knowledge of hacking and exploitation tools and methodologies, detection evasion techniques, notable malware and anti-malware solutions and techniques.
  • Drive the Evaluation/POC process
  • Travel  25-50% possible.

This U.S. role has a base pay range plus commissions that will vary based on the location of the candidate. For some locations, a different pay range may apply. If so, this range will be provided to you during the recruiting process. You can also reach out to the recruiter with any questions.
Base Salary Range
$134,400$184,800 USD
