Compliance Analyst
ShiftMed is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Compliance Analyst to support its mission to improve nurse staffing through technology. You will be key in ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
Skills
- Excellent research skills
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Analytical and critical thinking
- Understanding of HIPAA and data privacy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
Responsibilities
- Serve as escalation point for regulatory compliance inquiries
- Review and advise on healthcare professional credentials
- Provide hiring recommendations based on laws and regulations
- Support compliance audit initiatives
- Conduct legal research and advise on findings
- Monitor regulatory changes in the industry
- Draft and revise compliance policies and procedures
Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- JD from an accredited law school preferred
