With over 700 branches across the U.S. and Canada, we offer a comprehensive selection of products including: irrigation supplies, fertilizer and control products, nursery goods, hardscapes, landscape lighting, drainage and erosion control products, tools, and other landscaping accessories and supplies.Position OverviewSiteOne Landscape Supply offers a progressive style internship program designed to give students hands on experience in all facets of our branch operations. This intern will work on the Customer Experience and Sales team, will rotate through various branches, and be tasked with projects along the way. Students will have exposure working alongside our seasoned leadership to help build our customer relationships and keep the branch running smoothly. Internships are paid and the range is $15-25/hr typically.Kaleigh_Treiber_1 from SiteOne on Vimeo.IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:• Rotate between among branches (to be determined)• Learn the functionalities of SiteOne.com• Engage and interact with SiteOne customers on a weekly basis to promote sales and utilize SiteOne.com• Respond to customer questions concerning products and service issues• Answer questions regarding in store promotions, product availability, etc.• Escalate to sales team/branch management when necessary• Follow up with new customers that visit the local branches and solicit feedback on their experience.• Follow up with reactivated or missing customers that recently visited the local branches.• Price incoming product and material• Ride along with delivery driver and assist with loading/unloading product• Learn about inventory spot counts and inventory control• Maintain the cleanliness of the branch and stocking the work area with all necessary supplies• Ride along with an outside sales rep and assist with maintaining customer relationships• Work on project assigned by manager and present final to leadershipSkills We Are Seeking• Excellent communication skills• Must be able to lift 50 pounds consistently• Knowledge/classroom experience or interest in Sales/Marketing• Estimated salary for this role is $15-22/hr but may vary.THE INFORMATION CONTAINED HEREIN IS NOT INTENDED TO BE AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST OF ALL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED OF INDIVIDUALS PERFORMING THE JOB.
