We are seeking a Technical Director Energy to join our Team in our Oak Ridge, TN office.

How will you contribute to the team?  
Conducts an independent assessment to inquire, investigate and identify any additional activities required or requested for the NSDF project. 
Provides the project stakeholders, decision-makers and sponsors additional information to build confidence in the ability of the organization to deliver the project meeting all business and technical requirements successfully. This assurance review, upon completion, will provide an assurance report that documents the findings with recommendations for any remedial actions and future assurance activities. This plan will be updated to include the findings from the review and other areas of concern or interest as the project progresses into the implementation phase. 
Leads a team of assurance reviewers through an assessment of the NSDF Gate 4 package prior to submission through CNL and CNEA board of directors and AECL. 
Works with CNL to develop an Assurance Plan.
Selects areas for detailed review.
Reviews Assurance Plan with project team and sponsors.
Facilitates and coordinates assurance plan activities to completion.
Organizes and conduct reviews of documents or interviews utilizing allocated resources.
Document findings.
Document Recommendations and actions.
Document Assurance Rep.
Meets with CNEA and AECL executives to align on objectives and once complete, present the results and any findings or recommendations made. 
All other duties as assigned.
What will you contribute? 

• Requires a PhD degree.
• Requires 30 years’ experience.
• Must have excellent written/oral communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen in order to be considered.
