Field Logistics Associate

The Logistics Coordinator assembles Orthopaedics instrument sets and creates equipment into SAP PR1 to support US Business operations.

What you will be doing?

  • Create equipment in SAP for instrument sets physically built.
  • Build instrument sets.
  • Scan, pack, and ship implant sets. Performs work duties accomplishing daily goals, including but not limited to, the picking of Finished Goods, packing of Finished Goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, sourcing cases, and overcommunication to the sales reps.
  • Process all required order entry as directed to maintain and manage scheduled surgery cases daily.
  • Perform all required and reporting to measure accuracy, utilization and validations while coordinating Mobile Logistics and shipment schedules daily to ensure most cost-effective delivery methods are being utilized.
  • Multi-tasking and working under pressure are strengths needed. High stress at times during the day while juggling multiple tasks to meet deadlines. Each case “implants and instruments” we send out the door from our operations goes straight to the operating room.
  • Good housekeeping in all warehouse areas. Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work environment, and meeting daily shipping requirements, by properly following warehouse protocols and processes.
  • Required to perform on call support as required.
  • Must be flexible with role and helping teammates when needed, driving a company van at times when needed and asked upon.
  • Must be able to understand and perform the functions and procedures pertaining to the efficient operation of warehousing.
  • Assist during physical inventories and/or field cycle counts ensuring the office inventory PI preparation is performed.
  • Perform daily/period freight activity reviews on all FedEx and courier usage to ensure costing is correct and most economical.
  • Must be willing to learn our software Systems such as Move Medical and SAP used daily.
  • Must be able to train and direct other personnel in their duties, both clerical and physical.

What you need to be successful?

  • High school Diploma or equivalency required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a related field. (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business Analyst, Business Consultant).
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs. Standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling commonly occurring for long periods of time.
  • Valid Driver's License with clean record
