Sodexo has a fantastic opportunity for a Industrial Cleaning Manager to join our team in Weipa Australia working a Monday to Friay Roster from Weipa paying $110,00k plus per annum.

The Industrial Cleaning Manager is responsible for ensuring the continuity of quality of cleaning standards across the site. They act as an internal consultant to provide strategic and practical advice to improve contract performance and mitigate under-performance within the mine site cleaning service. The role will provide review, direction, training and actionable support to the Industrial Cleaning Team.

Requirements of the role will include but are not limited to: 

  • Lead industrial cleaning service performance discussions in team meetings
  • Drive agreed industial cleaning service performance across the Operational Portfolio
  • Drive ongoing review and development of streamlined work practices for the Site based teams and ensure they are standardised
  • Manage and engage tools and methods to sustain performance

Core knowledge and skills include:

  • Industrial cleaning management.
  • Improving service delivery.
  • Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyse and synthesis high volumes of data and present the information in meaningful and accurate reports.
  • Expertise in understanding key performance indicators of the contract, then implement solutions.
  • Success or remediate under-performance.
  • Excellent customer service focus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with dashboards and SharePoint

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Accommodation, and Cleaning Services
  • Experience in remote site facilities management.
  • Previous experience in quality management (ISO 9001)
  • Previous experience in Continuous Improvement or performance improvement.
  • Experience in business performance improvement (KPI’s)
