As a Medication Assistant at Spectrum Retirement Communities, your key responsibilities include maintaining and ordering medications for residents, documenting in the Medication Assistance Record, assisting residents with daily living activities, taking vital signs, providing first aid and wound care, and coordinating with healthcare professionals as necessary. You’ll also be involved in transporting residents to activities and responding promptly to emergency calls, ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

To qualify for the Medication Assistant position at Spectrum Retirement Communities, you should have a High School diploma or equivalent. You must meet all state educational requirements, and CPR certification is preferred. While experience working with an elderly population is a plus, having a calm and respectful demeanor is essential for success in this role.
