We are now looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team and help drive our expansion into new markets, including South Africa.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven performance marketing campaigns with a strong focus on user acquisition and retention for both web and app products. You will manage and optimize advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Affiliate marketing and Programmatic advertising.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the performance marketing strategy, aligning with overall business goals and targets, with a specific focus on the South African market.
- Managing end-to-end campaign operations, including setup, monitoring, and optimization for maximum ROI, with a focus on effectively running and optimizing campaigns in Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
Optimise customer acquisition campaigns to maximise ROI, continuously improving key performance metrics such as CPA, CPL, CTR, conversion rates, and lifetime value.
- Analyzing campaign data to identify trends, insights, and actionable opportunities to improve performance and drive growth, leveraging tools like Google Analytics, AppsFlyer, marketing automation platforms, and other relevant reporting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, analytics, content, and creative, to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns that deliver impactful results.
- Stay updated with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the African sports betting landscape, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key advertising partners to drive innovation and identify new growth opportunities.
- Provide leadership within your areas of responsibility, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture within the performance marketing team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in performance marketing, preferably within the online sports betting industry, with a strong understanding of the African markets.
- Demonstrated success in driving customer acquisition, conversion, and retention across websites and applications through performance marketing channels, delivering measurable business outcomes.
- In-depth knowledge of performance marketing channels, such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager.
- Deep expertise in GA4 and AppsFlyer, or similar MMP.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimise campaign performance.
- Solid understanding of the principles of web technologies as well as web and mobile advertising.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the sports betting landscape, including customer preferences, trends, and regulatory considerations.
