The product manager assumes end-to-end responsibility for the strategic value, usability, and performance of the platforms and products within the design and build domains. To be successful, the product manager needs to be skilled in managing complex and ambiguous initiatives, while managing cross functional expectations - including but not limited to feature sets, problem areas, timelines, and change requests. They need to have a passion for building the right capabilities for our business and our customers balanced with the analytical rigor to test, measure, and iterate to deliver on the best experience and business value.As a product manager, you will...• Be customer driven: work backwards from the customer, understand their problems and user journeys, and actively champion their success.• Be a strategic thought leader: build the product strategy, articulate it in a simple and compelling narrative, define the product roadmap with requirements, and drive alignment with cross functional teams.• Prioritize for impact: understand what success looks like, define it, measure it, and deliver on it.• Collaborate and communicate: bring cross-functional teams (business SMEs, software engineers, data scientists, architects, designers, vendors, ...) along with you on the journey through collaboration and clear communication.• Think critically: understand our technology stack and influence future investments• Launch and iterate: launch solutions and learn, then do it again -- iteratively deliver value by working through the entire product development lifecycle.• Simplify and innovate: reduce complexity of the solutions and systems supporting our customers while pushing for innovation through experimentation of new data sets and capabilities.• This team's collective impact directly supports the company's top-level goal of achieving new store openings growth target, uplifting existing stores through renovations, and driving efficiency in operations across its global portfolio of stores.We'd love to hear from people with:• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or relevant field• Demonstrated ability to use analytics and optimization tools to inform product planning and prioritization (4 years)• Demonstrated ability to work across technology and business teams to deliver customer facing features (4 years)• Hands on experience in developing roadmaps, priorities, features, story outlines, writing user stories, refining product backlogs, and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast-paced, changing environment with variety of stakeholders (4 years)• 4+ years of industry experience in a technology environment with a record of successfully delivering complex productsPreferred Qualifications• Detailed and results-oriented, able to analyze data to justify product decisions and apply key learnings• Ability to apply knowledge of business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities• Strong verbal and written communications skills• Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines• Strong knowledge of agile development practices, methodologies, and tools• Technical knowledge in web and mobile applications• Knowledgeable of agile/scrum methodology and user centric design; may be certified product owner; may collaborate with PMO/scrum master on project methodology to highlight issues and help as needed for product lifecycleJoin us and inspire with every cup.
