We are currently looking for a People Ops Manager ( HR Manager) based in France working alongside the People Team in France, managing the Business Department. You will join the People Team and will report to our Global Head of People Operations.


The People Operations team are looking to hire a People Operations Manager to oversee all the employee lifecycle including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, employee relations and project work. We are therefore looking to find the right candidate who has a good understanding of the PeopleOperations’ dynamics and a thorough knowledge of labor relations in France. This is an incredibly varied role with a significant opportunity to have a huge impact and make a fundamental difference. You will be granted trust, autonomy, and freedom to deliver results whilst working as part of a highly collaborative team.


What will I be doing? đŸ€”
  • Act as the key People representative in France for the People team, supporting any requests that come from the departments based in France. 
  • Creating and implementing local HR policies and processes in France, as well as policies at a global level working alongside the other People Operation Managers for other corresponding countries. 
  • Owning Employee relations matters, liaising with the legal team when needed and acting as an escalation point for complex issues. Providing guidance on Employment Relations relations and practices e.g’s grievances, performance issues, dismissals, procedures and compliance. 
  • Coaching and providing feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency. 
  • Collaborating and coordinating global projects with the Culture, Talent Development,Talent Acquisition, Reward teams. 
  • Working with Hibob as the HRIS system and helping to support data management/maintenance.
  • Acting as a key contact for CSE, assisting with administration of CSE meetings and note taking. 
  • Management of the visa process and supporting the payroll alongside the PayrollManager, as well as the benefit administration. 
  • Assisting with generation of contracts, addendum letters, as well as onboarding and onboarding employees. 
  • Ad hoc duties as and when required.


What do we need from you? 😎
  • Previous experience working in a fast paced environment like a fast moving scale up or start up experience. 
  • Ideally 5 years relevant experience with 1+ year of management or mentoring experience. 
  • People Champion - someone who is people oriented, really passionate about fostering an inclusive culture within Stuart and celebrating our individuality. 
  • Ability to problem solve in the short and long term - ability to process map (Project Management skills). 
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and oral), with the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders confidently. 
  • Excellent employee relations and legislation knowledge. 
  • Experience of payroll processing in France and working with payroll software.
  • Management skills, creative, open to change & adaptation, flexible. 
  • Fluent in English and French.
