Introduction: Sword Health is seeking a Seasonal Intake Specialist (Doctor of Physical Therapy) to join the Move business unit as part of our Clinical Operations team for at least 3 months. In this remote role, you will be the first point of contact for new members, collecting key information and setting them up for success in the program via telephone call or video call. You’ll use the Sword Portal to ensure accurate onboarding, establish initial goals, and guide members through the first steps of their journey - laying the groundwork for meaningful engagement and long-term results.


Important note: This is a seasonal position guaranteed for at least 3 months, with the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role based on individual performance and business needs.


All of our PTs work 100% from home. This is a Part-time position with hours fluctuating between 10 hours/week and 25 hours/week.


What you 'll be doing :
  • Conduct Onboarding video & audio consultations with members at the beginning of their program.
  • Address any high-level questions a member may have on the program and create the foundations for long lasting behavioral change.
  • Work through the Sword Portal to process information shared by the member to build a brief for the treatment PT.
  • Create handoff notes for the treatment PT to correctly follow the member.
  • Ensure high levels of member satisfaction from the start, setting the stage for continued program participation and success.


What you need to have :
  • Must hold a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • At least 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
  • Experience in treating musculoskeletal disorders (Sports background is a plus!)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to engage members.
  • Creative thinking and adaptability to a hands-off, remote approach.
  • Hard-working and capable of managing the pressures of a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working a flexible schedule, prescribed between 10 and 25 hours per week, with the expectation that the hours prescribed are the hours worked.
  • Minimal to no hours are available to be worked on the weekends.


How this position differs from other Physical Therapy roles:
  • Does not involve longitudinal treatment of the member.
  • Initial intake calls (video or phone calls) focus on information processing and setting members up for success, not on clinical assessments.
  • No responsibility for prescribing treatment programs.
