Job DescriptionQA TesterDirect Hire100% onsite (Philadelphia, PA – relocation available if applicable)US Citizen, Green Card or H1B only120KThis Associate level QA Tester is focused on ensuring quality of applications through the software lifecycle, including deployments in a setting where requirements are often defined and refined in real time. In partnership with the business and developers, the QA Tester will help solidify business use cases and testing releases, designing ways to test new features, changing architectures and operational requirements.In This Role, You Will• Be involved with test planning, documentation, and test case development• Manage and maintain the test environments and automation• Manage and execute production software deployments• Develop and refine test processes, methodologies, disciplines, build out Regression Tests, and performance measurements• Provide specialized testing, including functional performance, volume, and stress testing• Testing new functionality and bug fixes along with configuring and managing complex test environmentsRequired• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical course of study will only be given consideration• 3-5 years of experience of hands-on application software testing such as: Rapid software testing, exploratory testing, system testing, production data verification, performance testing• Experience with Python, SQL, and defect tracking systems• Ability to understand and articulate complex business systems to help diagnose the underlying problems and solve them• Ability to work closely with development team and business users to identify and troubleshoot issues.• An analytical mind with the ability and drive to use available resources to understand, diagnose and solve problems• Strategic, analytical, problem-solving mentality• Ability to work onsite 5 days/week in the Philadelphia area office
