Field Based HR Business Partner

American Franchise Capital “AFC” currently owns and manages 82 Taco Bell restaurants and 35 Applebee’s restaurants in 10 states withannual sales of over $200 million.Now HiringField Based HR Business PartnerThe HRG is responsible for developing and delivering the people aspects of the business plan for the Brand they support. The HRBP provides manpower and succession planning, direction and field support, leadership coaching, acts as a key liaison on all HR processes and responds to people-oriented matters. The HRG also champions change initiatives and focuses on overall organizational effectiveness for the Brand. The HRG should be viewed as one of the trusted business advisors to the Brand Leaders and should be comfortable working with and challenging Brand Leaders in a manner that will assist Operations in achieving key business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations• Provides counsel and expertise to Senior Brand Leaders on issues related to Human Resources• Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation to field operators• Provides support to Field Management regarding work-related problems such as performance or misconduct issues, recommending appropriate actions such as discipline or termination, ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures and employment laws• Partners with Senior Leadership to conduct investigations and provides recommendations on addressing outcomes of the investigation• Manages the Performance Evaluation and Merit processes• Analyze trends and metrics with the HR department• Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionTraining and Leadership Development• Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning• Monitor Brand position training requirements and guidelines and provide ongoing training completion reporting as outlined in the brand training system• Create, develop, and facilitate leadership development plans and programs to field operations• Maintains and champions the manpower planning, manager development and internal promotion processes• Partners with training managers and leadership to ensure the management in training program meets all objectives• Champions and delivers on Brand leadership training initiatives• Administers all federal/ state mandated training: Anti-harassment training, Sick Leave policyRecruitment / Staffing• Uses business partnerships with senior brand leaders to develop recruiting strategy for attracting, selecting, and retaining quality team members and managers• Measures and manages retention and turnover objectives• Partners with field operations to plan and execute all hiring and training initiatives.• Utilizes all platforms to recruit and drive quality applicant flow to include social media platformsCompliance• Partners with HR payroll and benefits department to review wage and hour issues and benefit enrollment assistance• Collaborate with Risk Manager, Benefits and Operations on workman's compensation matters• Partners with Field Operations to ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations• Provides counsel on EEOC related matters; acts as the Company liaison at mediationsSkills and Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Hospitality, or equivalent professional experience• Three to five years’ experience including management experience in the following areas: recruiting/ staffing, employee relations, employment law, training, compensation, and benefits• Strong knowledge of federal and state labor regulations, benefits, wage, and hour laws, and EEO regulations• Superior business acumen: demonstrated ability to analyze and impact business results at an organization level• Excellent communication skills-written, verbal and presentation• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.• Able to influence /lead others, integrate change and partner to build diverse and effective teamsWe can offer you excellent opportunities for advancement and the opportunity to build a career in a very fast-paced restaurant environment.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer#sourcingpro #0uv #0total #tacobell33766hr #tacobell #tacobellafcbrands
