ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a talented sales assistants who loves retail, loves a challenge, and loves waking up each day with a passion for making a difference. Support the Store Manager with the day to day operations and provide an inspiring in-store experience for our team, customers and community members.
You will assist with:
• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices;
• Collecting, sorting and pricing donations in store;
• Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation
• Provide exceptional Customer Service
• Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure.
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities.

This will include the maximisation of sales and productivity to deliver surplus to support Corps activities. The thrift shop also exists as a valued mission expression of the ministry of The Salvation Army.
About the role
We are seeking a values-driven Sales Assistant for our Swan Hill Thrift Shop in Casual capacity. Reporting to the Thrift shop store manager this is a Permanent, Part-time (19 hours per week) role, located in Swan hill, Victoria.
