JOB SUMMARY:The Trade Group is a full-service exhibit house dedicated to delivering world class creative solutions partnered with superior customer experiences. We specialize in designing, fabricating, delivering, installing, dismantling, storing and managing trade show exhibits and corporate events for a diverse range of clients.We are seeking a team member that brings energy, a drive for excellence and proactivity, and a desire to contribute to a 200+ person community both professionally and culturally.The Business Development Representative (BDR) role is a critical component in our sales strategy. As a BDR, you will be focused on booking meetings with new prospects and building the early stages of a sales pipeline for our Account Executives. Aside from making initial contact and setting meetings, your input and ability to assess each opportunity will make a significant impact on business development and ultimately winning the business.If you are motivated, results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:• Detail-oriented lead generation thru face-to-face prospecting, cold calling and emailing to drive sales of TTG products & services• Develop new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up• Target BDR objective is meeting/exceeding goal of 5 scheduled meetings for sales staff per week• Briefly research company and industry information, identify key stakeholders for focus, and generate maximum interest to prepare sales team for follow up activities• Quickly learn the language of target sales verticals to gain a deep understanding of customers’ needs and wants within their trade show program• Stay up to date on trends and developments within the trade show industry• Collaborate with BD Manager & peers on best practices, competitive intel, and sales strategy• Work with sales and marketing to execute aggressive lead generation and nurturing plans that meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets• Update and maintain all customer information and activities within CRM• Participate in sales group meetings to discuss targets and forecasts• This is a remote position. This particular BDR will need to reside in Las Vegas, NV to provide continuous frontline coverage for most Las Vegas tradeshows. There exists potential for travel to West Coast trade events, primarily in Southern and Northen California• Other duties as assigned.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.• 6 months - 1 year of experience prospecting or sales desired.• Experience using a CRM/Customer Relationship Management tool desired.• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products, particularly word and excel.• Strong phone presence with great listening and natural conversation skills.• Highly energetic and self-starter.• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with varied personalities in all levels of the organization.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Target orientated, ambitious, creative, customer focused.• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company.• Ability to work accurately and quickly under company deadlines.• Cooperative, courteous, flexible and good natured.• Trade show experience a plus.• Must have reliable transportation.• Must have attention to detail and accuracy.• Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and commitment to meeting and exceeding deadlines and goals.• Valid driver’s license.
