Sales Technical Engineer

The Sales Technical Engineer will leverage their technical expertise to drive sales success and customer engagement. This role acts as the primary technical resource for product integrations, collaborating with customers and internal teams to design and implement tailored solutions. Responsibilities

  • Technical Expertise & Support:
    • Serve as the primary technical resource for key partnerships, providing guidance on product capabilities and integrations.
    • Troubleshoot technical challenges during pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
    • Deliver internal training and stay updated on product advancements to offer informed recommendations.
  • Sales Enablement & Customer Engagement:
    • Partner with sales teams to create technical strategies aligned with client needs.
    • Lead technical demos, presentations, and workshops, simplifying complex concepts for customers.
    • Gather customer feedback to influence product development and improve competitiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work with internal development teams to refine products and address gaps.
    • Provide input for marketing teams on technical content creation.
    • Act as a liaison between customers and partners for integration success.
  • Customer Success Integration:
    • Assist with onboarding by ensuring smooth configuration and deployment.
    • Provide post-sale technical guidance and identify expansion opportunities.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues in partnership with customer success teams.
  • Innovation & Continuous Learning:
    • Stay informed about industry trends in AI, HR tech, and cloud computing.
    • Identify areas for innovation to enhance product offerings and engagement strategies.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience); relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of cloud computing, AI/ML, SaaS, and enterprise solutions. Familiarity with NVIDIA DGX, IBM AI/cloud products, or similar technologies preferred.
  • Sales Support Experience: Proven ability to align technical solutions with customer needs and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Solution Design & Implementation: Experience configuring and implementing scalable technical solutions for enterprise clients.
  • Technical Communication: Ability to conduct product demos and explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • CRM & Tools: Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Problem Solving & Collaboration: Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience: 3-7+ years in technical sales, sales engineering, or similar roles in the tech/SaaS industry.
