Townsquare Ignite is seeking a Creative Strategy Manager to join our Creative Services team.

Do you know a good digital ad when you see it? More importantly do you know how to explain how to fix a bad ad? Townsquare Media is seeking a Creative Strategy Manager to join our Creative Services team. This person will be the creative and strategy conduit between client/sales and the digital design team. This role is responsible for working with clients to understand their overall campaign strategy by evaluating the client’s media plan and help develop a creative ad strategy based off their goals. Most importantly, this role will speak the language of both sales and design. This role should seek to elevate the digital ads we create for our clients by providing excellent ad copy and design instruction to our design team based off the client’s goals. This is a high volume position working with clients all across the country so you will need to have a very keen sense of detail, copywriting skills, ability to work with very short deadlines and able to effectively communicate design instructions to a creative services team.

 Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creative process of all digital ads for clients across the country, translating a client’s business needs into a creative strategy
  • Take direction from sales and clients and translate that into clear instructions for our design team in order to have the client’s vision come to life
  • Conduct calls with clients to help develop a creative strategy for their digital ads based of the clients goals and KPI’s
  • Responsible for writing ad copy including for display ads and social media posts
  • Selecting images or inspirations for digital ads
  • Reviewing digital ads and requesting any revisions and work to have the perfect set to show clients
  • Responsible for strategizing creative updates
  • Managing the campaign timeline and working with clients to make sure their campaign is effective

  • Principals of Effective Digital Ad Design (both static and animated)
  • Typography/Font Selection
  • Advertisement/Copy Hierarchy
  • Copywriting (digital and social)
  • Programmatic ad experience
  • Campaign management/strategy
  • Unparalleled attention to detail

  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience as a production or graphic designer with focus on digital advertising
  • Ability to produce high volumes of quality work under tight deadlines
