Responsibilities

**Candidate must reside in an approved remote worker state: AR, AZ, CO, FL, IL, IN, KY, MI, ND, NE, OH, SC, TN, TX, WI

 

Candidate must have Palliative Care or Physician Billing experience

 

The Revenue Cycle, Billing and Collections Processor – Level II is a mid-level position which performs insurance andself-pay account resolution activities, including claim appeals. Researches with high level of detail to ensure timelyaccount resolution

  • Gathers and submits information for timely resolution of issues.
  • Gains knowledge across the spectrum of multiple payer’s, both assigned and unassigned, along with all applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Consistently meets and exceeds established productivity and quality standards.
  • Functions as a Resource to teammates, while supporting training of new employees.

Qualifications

  • Must have Palliative Care or Physician Billing experience
  • High School diploma, or equivalent
  • Progressive relevant experience preferably in revenue cycle and/or reimbursement within the health care setting.
  • Ability to perform accurate account reconciliations independently, strong communication skills, critical thinking skills, reliable, responsible, team player
  • Remittance processing, bank statement balancing, and resolution experience are preferred.
