Fullstack Software Engineer, Self Serve

Vanta’s team and technology surface are growing quickly, and it’s essential that we invest in the right abstractions and systems to enable us to scale with our business. As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for setting technical direction to enable our product and infrastructure to scale with our business, and driving complex projects across our technical stack.. Your past experience will be leveraged to enable and accelerate Vanta’s growth.

As a software engineer on the Self Serve Team, you’ll be a part of the platform organization at vanta, and will work horizontally across many areas of the Vanta product. You’ll help drive customer activation, engagement, and retention by building features and tools that make it easy for our users to adopt our product, realize value quickly and build habits to achieve their compliance and security goals. In addition, you’ll help open new doors for vanta’s business, allowing customers to get everything they need in their compliance journey with Vanta.

What you’ll do as a Software Engineer at Vanta:

• Design, develop, and own new product functionality and/or infrastructure leveraging modern frameworks and tooling (TypeScript, React, Node.js)

• Lead high impact projects with multiple stakeholders and engineers to enable our business and team to scale

• Set direction for critical technical surface areas, enabling us to stay ahead of continued rapid growth

• Work with talented and kind engineers to make a significant impact on our customer base, enabling them to improve and review their security posture

• Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture as we grow

How to be successful in this role:

• Have at least 3 years of full stack experience 

• Have a passion for high visibility customer facing features, with a strong eye for detail

• Have experience or interest in integration AI tools into UI flows

• Have strong communication and collaboration skills

• Have an interest in learning about security or prior experience in the space
