Our GTM team is currently looking for a Manager, Sales Development to join us!
As our first Manager, Sales Development in APAC, you’ll lead and grow a team of highly motivated and ambitious Sales Development Representatives during a period of rapid-growth at Vanta. These SDRs will be focused on the VSB (1-20), SMB (20-200), and Upmarket (200+) segments of our APAC business. You’ll be integral in shaping our sales organization as we continue to scale, move up market, and distinguish Vanta as best-in-class to prospects in our rapidly growing category of security automation, with Vanta having created the category of automated compliance.
This role is based in our Sydney office and follows an office-centric hybrid schedule.
What you’ll do as a Manager, Sales Development at Vanta:
Manage and mentor a growing team of high performing Sales Development Representatives, providing them the tools, coaching, and support needed to deliver results for the business
Evolve Vanta’s prospecting playbook by developing and implementing new prospecting initiatives and strategies that will increase deal sizes, resolve complex use cases, and drive more revenue to the company
Grow the Sales Development team at Vanta, through active involvement in recruitment, on-boarding and training of new Sales Development Representatives
Create and establish strategic prospecting training, conduct weekly forecasting meetings, and mentor your direct reports on strategies that can help create pipeline
Help to continually foster an inclusive Sales organization representing Vanta’s culture and values
Ensure development plans are in place, adapted to each individual, and made useful in a way that ensures the ongoing development of talent within the organization
Collaborate cross functionally to drive better outcomes for Vanta’s prospects’
Partner with sales leadership on creating an agile organization that believes in using decision frameworks to inform strategic direction but also isn’t afraid to launch, iterate, and redo in order to get the job done
How to be successful in this role:
Based in Sydney, Australia, with the ability to commute to the office in a hybrid setting.
Bring at least 3 years of experience building and managing a high-performing outbound B2B SaaS sales team.
Architect a high-performing team quickly while maintaining a high bar for talent.
Provide strategic insights on developing processes, systems, and procedures in the APAC region that align with a global organization.
Excel in problem-solving, thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and embrace the challenge of making a significant impact early in a start-up setting.
Showcase a proven track record of increasing efficiency and productivity within a growing sales organization.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coach and mentor SDRs.
