Job Description

As a Senior .NET Developer you will be working in a Scrum Team of cross-functional skills in tight collaboration practising Agile. You will be contributing to real decisions about technology to create maintainable solutions for our customer and participating in a highly collaborative group of software engineering professional’s. Learning, developing your skills and becoming a rounded Developer in the process. You will develop software to meet our client's user needs using C#/.NET on the Microsoft Azure Cloud, follow best practice guidelines and help to improve those guidelines.

SC eligibility is required (5+ years living in the UK and have not spent 30+ days continuously outside of the UK in the last 12 months)

  • Develop applications with design and programming of multi-tier applications
  • Develop object-oriented and component-based applications
  • Manage all aspects of design, development, testing, and implementation
  • Design and develop solutions with a Cloud first mentality, serving as the liaison in translating functional and system requirements into technical solutions
  • Design the technical solution using best practices in web development regarding security, maintainability, scalability, and performance
  • Identify and understand the scope of functionality and suggest development solutions with cost benefit and design options
  • Provide timely updates on tasks and meet internal and client deadlines with high quality deliverables
  • Work with customers and users to evaluate, estimate and perform application development and/or business process change requests under the direction of the appropriate Technical Lead
  • Develops test scenarios and scripts as an integral component of the software quality assurance process
  • Developing solutions leveraging Cloud first architecture, .NET, C# in a Microsoft Azure environment
  • Create clean, maintainable code and supporting technical documentation
  • Delivery of application development using best practices

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer
  • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))
  • Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3, Angular, React, or Blazor web development.
  • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
  • Familiarity with Cloud services, especially Microsoft Azure AIS
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Bonus Skills

  • Experience/exposure of Low Code technology such as Power Platform/Dynamics 365
  • Appreciation of leveraging AI tooling to accelerate development
