Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. They are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes to produce tools for scalable software solutions.

Skills

Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Go, or similar
In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and best practices
Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience with related tools
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools
Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze complex issues in distributed systems

Responsibilities

Proactively handle service and infrastructure outages and conduct in-depth root cause analyses
Design, maintain, and upgrade infrastructure
Mentor teams on database areas and troubleshooting
Work on mission-critical systems in a large-scale production environment
Utilize cloud-native advanced technologies such as Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, and more
Perform routine maintenance tasks and ensure compatibility with existing applications and data
